February 21, 2009 Congratulations to Sue and Henry. Today at the UKC show in Ann Arbor, Henry was awarded Best of Breed and Group 4 for 10 points. He is now a UKC champion.

Also, "Zeus" - Golden Oaks Mighty Zeus in Florida today received the 1st leg to his CD. He will be going for his 2nd tomorrow.

January 31, 2009 The United Kennel Club announced the "2008 Top Ten Breed And Dog Standings. "Henry" - Goldenoak's Moon Chaser, OFA, OF-EL, is tied for number 2! Way to go Henry and mom, Sue Putt!

January 9, 2009 "Annie" had her babies today, sired by "Bentley". This is a repeat breeding of "Ben", "Henry" and "Delilah". Check out their photos on on the planned breedings page.
December 22, 2008 "Mollie" out of Hercules and Frances.. here is an e-mail from her owner:

"Hi Mary! Hope you and family and dogs are all well and having a good holiday season. Just wanted to drop you a quick line and tell you that Mollie passed her Therapy Dog test last Thursday with flying colors! She was even recommended by the West Michigan Therapy Dog Board of Directors to take the Delta test in February when it comes to this area! She passed the West Michigan Therapy Dog test last Thursday at the Delta level and was the star pupil in the class! The President of the WMTD came up to us and told us that anytime we need a team to volunteer with, she would volunteer with us any day because Mollie is so good! I am so proud of her and am looking forward to the future with her as a therapy dog!!!! Way to go Mollie!!!!!"

June, 2008 "Frankie" .. GOLDEN OAK'S FRANKLY MY DEAR, OFA, OF-EL, CERF (Bentley x Frances) obtained 5 points towards his Canadian championship at the Algoma Dog Fanciers Shows.

March 15, 2008 We are thrilled to brag that three of our newfs obtained their CGC titles today... GOLDEN OAK'S MIDNIGHT SONG, CGC (Ben), GOLDEN OAK'S MOON CHASER, CGC (Henry) out of our first litter from Bentley and Annie, as well as "Molly" out of Hercules and Frances. Great job guys!

December 20, 2007 We welcome with love, our little "Delilah". She is out of our October 20, 2007 litter from Bentley and Annie. We have high hopes that this lovely landseer girl will follow in her grandpa "Hugo's" paw prints.
